Data Encryption
Data Encryption plays a huge role in keeping the whole enterprise safe, from a simple act of sending an email to encrypting backups.
Cryptography is the practice of hiding information. The goal is to convert an ordinary message into an unintelligible gibberish text to guard the message. Using that process is called encryption, and reversing the process or converting it to plaintext is called decryption.
When do we need it and how we do it? There are lots of activities on the Web that require you to encrypt information. Here is a good list of some activities:
- Email (inside and outside LAN)
- Work email log in
- Accessing company information
- Transferring files
- Downloading files
- Filling up online forms that requires personal information
Let us know about your encryption needs and how we can work it out.
